My 3 year-old son loves to play with cutting tools. Whenever he sees a cutter or scissor, he would get it and starts cutting any paper that he will get hold of. My hubby gets angry and scolds me whenever he catches my son playing with a cutting tool. He says that it is dangerous and our son might tear his fingers or may strike his eyes or any part of his body accidentally. I try to confiscate whenever I catch my son playing but at times I just let him play with it because I believe that it will also have a good effect in his gripping skills.
