weight loss pills

My daughter is only 12 year old though she wanted to use diet pills. Most of her friends in the dance troop, all of them are using weight loss pills because they are afraid to gain weight. I am not sure yet if I’ll my daughter to take this pill. Aside from she is only 12, I am afraid if there are any side effects. Please help, I need your advice.
